President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III appointed Police Director Nicanor Bartolome as the new Philippine Nationa Police Chief replacing Director General Raul Bacalzo who will retire today.
“President Aquino has chosen Nicanor Bartolome to be the next Chief of the Philippine National Police. Bartolome will take the helm of PNP from Chief Raul Bacalzo who retire tomorrow,” deputy presidential spokesperson Abigail Valte announced.
