Communist Party Of The Philippines spokesperson Gregorio “Ka Roger” Rosal died last June 22, 2011 due to heart attack, according to CPP website.
The CPP leadership announced that it has been long since Ka Roger died but they didn’t announced it earlier to give way to their leaders in informing his relatives about the incident.
There will be a tribute ofr Ka Roger in October 15 and the rebel group will be giving him a gun salute. The CPP central committee described Ka Roger as the voice and the face of the Philippine Revolutionary movement.

Gregorio Rosal was born in Ibaan, Batangas on Abril 19, 1947 and joined the movement in 1973. He was chosen to be the CPP spokesperson in 1993.
