“In their desperation to invent the evidence, to rebut this very strong circumstantial evidence that the helicopters were purchased by Mike Arroyo, they come up with these spurious, contrived leased agreement which unfortunately will not fly,” Drilon said.
Drilon also added that instead of helping, Negros Occidental Rep. Ignacio ‘Iggy’ Arroyo made it more hard for Mike Arroyo to escape the issue as Drilon finds the leased agreement anomalous.
He said that the lease agreement was notarized last March 16, 2004 but two of the five the helicopters don’t have serial numbers it wasn’t delivered to the country yet.
Drilon challenged Iggy to show a copy of the cheque he issued to pay for the rental of the helicopters for 2 months in 2004.
