Candlelit vigil held for 3 killed in Birmingham riots



Around 10pm last night, a group of around 300 people gathered to held a vigil for the three men killed in the recent rioting in Birmingham.

The vigil took place in  the petrol station in the Winson Green area of the city where they planned to march a two mile route to the city centre but roads were shutdown.

“We need to show solidarity, that we will help whoever we see”, says Gurpreet Singh, 28, a local Sikh businessman together with Tariq Jahan, father of murdered businessman Haroon Jahan.
